05/04/2011
Oslo / Hamburg, 6. April 2011 – With the newly established, Hamburg based company flux labor GmbH i.G., the Norwegian software company PagePlanner Solutions AS presents the preferred sales partner for the German speaking countries. The brandnew PagePlanner 3, presented on the digi:media, will be available exclusively via flux labor in Germany, Austria and Switzerland now. flux labor supports a better publishing, offering solutions to optimize structures and workflows. Like PagePlanner 3, the leading Scandinavian editorial system for crossmedia publications.
„With flux labor, we have found an ideal sales partner in the German speaking countries for our new editorial system, PagePlanner 3“, says Björn Jåsund, CEO PagePlanner Solutions AS. „flux labor is flexible, combines media and social competence with profound sales know-how, and has excellent contacts to publishing houses“, declares Jåsund with regard to the qualities of his new partner.
„Our goal is to make publishing easy and better – meaning smart workflows, more transparency in core processes, better options for collaboration, or the integration of completely new communication channels“, says Dr. Jörg Wallner, founder flux labor. flux labor offers customized solutions, based on surveys and process checks, consulting and individual training.
„We want to optimize publishing processes. At the same time, flux laboratory´s managers and employees always keep an eye on the overall picture“, says Oliver Cole, flux labor´s second founder. Journalism is more than the production of paid content. But, given the economic situation for publishing houses, efficient production processes are needed. „Speaking from our own experience, we know what to do to improve both work satisfaction and workflows“, elaborates Cole flux labor´s basic approach.
An easy to handle, flexible and transparent, powerful editorial system is essential for the optimization of production workflows and structures. PagePlanner 3 is such a system; publishers, chief editors and journalists will love it. „With PagePlanner 3 we have developed an editorial system that heralds the future of crossmedia publishing“, says Fredrik Sommerfelt-Kvaal, CTO PagePlanner Solutions. „We are very happy, that the cooperation with flux labor allows us to show German speaking publishing houses and editorial departments, too, how easy and transparent content production can be done nowadays –from planning the design to publishing the results in several channels.“
