Restaurants

Schnellenburg

Stockum - Schnellenburg, one of Düsseldorf's most traditional restaurants, is located close to the Rhine and vis-a-vis from the Messe (trade fair) and the Congress Center. Already in 1411 it was mentioned in a document, and since 1926 it has housed a large gastronomy. Since 1970 it has also been a hotel with 50 rooms. Today, this historically listed ensemble offers international cuisine, an idyllically located beer garden as well as event rooms for up to 200 people. more

La Fonda

Willich - This Spanish and international specialty restaurant is located in a "green oasis" next to the Duvenhof golf course. On warm days, you can relax here on the terrace of the restaurant and enjoy à la carte and daily changing, fresh, seasonal dishes and crispy wines. A separate room in the restaurant accommodates up to 60 people. more

Prickynoo Lounge

Hafen - In the direct vicinity of the media harbour (Medienhafen) is this a Thai restaurant with just that small difference. You can relax, lean back and enjoy the culinary programme in a stylish lounge atmosphere with indirectly illuminated stone walls and discreetly placed Buddha statues. The elaborate menu leads through the many tastes and aromas of Thailand. Among other things, scrumptious fish specialties from the grill await you. A large choice of exotic cocktails and long drinks round off the offer. The Prikynoo restaurant operator's many years of experience concerning hospitality and know-how guarantees a successful evening! more

Portofino

Stadtmitte - For over 30 years, Portofino has pampered its guests with its Italian joie de vivre, which goes hand in hand with good food. Fresh fish, seasonal dishes and imaginative creations are presented in this tastefully decorated restaurant. Excellent Italian wines compliment the "Ars Vivendi". more

Brauerei Zum Schiffchen

Altstadt - The restaurant/brewery "Zum Schiffchen", located in the heart of the "Old Town", is the oldest restaurant in Düsseldorf. In 1628, it was mentioned for the first time, and even Napoleon was served here. With its cultivated, rustic atmosphere, the friendly "Köbessen" (waiters) and the Rhenish specialties, it is a typical Düsseldorf restaurant "par excellence". Besides "Alt"beer, there is also - very unusual for a brewery - a well assorted wine list. The restaurant has 420 seats and is divided up into several rooms. The beer garden has an additional 140 seats. more
